I’ll just start off and say, I absolutely loved the emotion and intensity that this episode had. You don’t mess with Gibbs when it comes to his family. I’m still absorbing the rest, but I definitely loved it.

But of course, there was not enough Cote for my liking.

    Felt the same way, Crystal.

I was actually hoping for more Tony/Ziva moments in the elevator after all the hype the media created by releasing interviews and articles about them being trapped in that elevator. I felt a little let down…

    Hey guys!
First off, thank you for the many updates you did recently! Good work!
    About the premiere:
I think that it was a good start for the new season, there are a lot of things that could develop, e.g. the aftermath and psychlogical impact on the team. There’s nothing specific that I didn’t like about this episode, but I just felt like some scenes had so much more potential, like the elevator scene, but also Tim’s injury. It was weird that they both were like “Uh-oh”, and a few minutes later he’s fine again without any further action.
Otherwise, I’m totally confident with Gibbs’ actions. That’s totally Gibbs, that’s totally NCIS.

I’m looking forward to next week!

    Best wishes,
    Malou

Yes, I agree with you there! There were times where things seemed to develop far too quickly and it seemed to be because of two reasons. One, there was so much going on that it was so rushed so they could fit it all in and another, it seemed like they were not very good at indicating how much time had passed. The month gaps they let us know with the on-screen indicators, but at some points I think they meant to have days pass, but it came off as hours or just a day change (which I think was the case with Tim’s injury, or so I hope. I know I wouldn’t have recovered that fast!).

    Right, that’s it!
But I think they are going to work things out within the next episodes. There are Abby’s nightmares, and I guess we will get to know what the other team members felt like. Maybe we will meet Doctor Ryan again? I think the next episode will be a little less predictable, since the first episode held no more surprises after the spoilers (it’s not like you revealed to much, it’s just that maybe CBS shouldn’t have revealed that much).

Off topic: How about discussing every episode that comes up officially? Either this way or via a permanent link to the community?

    Best wishes again!
